Being the President of the Crescent Quilters' Group should be enjoyable for you. People have always supported me with encouragement along the way a tried to help me however they could. This is a guide to help you get started. You will notice headings at the top of the page. Each one is a link to read more information on the topic. The most visible part of the role will be when we start having meetings. The president keeps the flow of the evening running. It can be a little bit nerve racking especially at first when you are new at the role. Once you settle into the role it feels a little bit more natural and less scary. (at least it did for me) There is also the less visible part of the role. All of the behind the scenes preparation and communication with the members is an important part of the role as well. Welcome to blogging! Now that you have administrator privlidges it is time to learn how to post the photos on our Sew, Show, 'n' Tell blog. This is the blog page that we are using Because you have administrator privligeds, when you are signed in, there should be options at the top of the page that only administrators can see. To start working on a post go to the icon at the top right of the page that looks like a pen. Click on it. Now you can get started. It will take you to a page with a column on the left that has options to select as seen below. To start, use the +New Post button on the top. To modify a post you have already been working on go to Posts just underneath that. Create a title for the post. Go to the photos icon and select it. A box will then appear under it as shown. I always use the upload from computer option. Once you select upload from computer this is the screen that appears. Click on the choose files button. Now you can go to wherever you saved your pic...
